Warriors Visit Carisbrook School
 Warriors Visit Carisbrook School.
We were very lucky to have the Warriors as special guests at our School Assembly on
Friday 21st February 2014. Players Manu Vatuvei, Thomas Leuluai, Dane Nielson and Ben Henry entertained our students with role play, a quick fire quiz and the presentation of achievement awards to students. The Warriors are sponsors of 'Kidscan' which is an organisation that has been a great supporter of Carisbrook School.

 Maggi Cooking Competition.
Miss Ruxton followed up on her passion for food technology by entering Carisbrook school into the national 'Maggi Bake Off'. Misss Ruxton organised a baking competition for teams of our senior students at Carisbrook School. The competition was tough but a team was selected to represent our school at the local competition. The team placed well and went on to compete in the Regional finals at christchurch. A fantastic opportunity for our students and one which they won't forget.

  Flashmob Octagon.

Miss Lawless had her Hip Hop students participate in a Sport of Otago organised flashmob held in the Octagon. The Carisbrook Hip Hop team were responsible for organising the flashmob dance and lead the moves in the Octagon. The students were very excited and enjoyed watching themselves on television that night.

Road Patrol Starts at Carisbrook School:
Road Patrol has started on South Road. A team of Year 6 - 8 students received training from our Police Education Officer in week 1 of 2015.
Road Patrol provides opportunities for students to develop their leadership and take on a role of responsibility at our school.
