Latest Information - Friday 10th February 2012 Update:

Carisbrook has had a great start to the year. Pupils settled very quickly into their new environments, making new friends, getting to know their teachers and are already hard at work.

Our new school tee shirts arrived on Friday afternoon. we will distribute these to pupils this week. Please ensure that your child’s tee shirt is named.

Mr Price, the Year 7 Teacher from the College Street Site referees a game of Rippa Rugby being played by Year 7-8 pupils from both the College Street and the Main Site on Friday 3rd February.

Thank you to Board of Trustees representative Sheralyn Weepers for her behind the scenes work with getting the new school signage organised for the three sites. We have been receiving positive comments about these.

Swimming:- From this week our classes will start to use our school swimming pool.

All Carisbrook pupils will receive swim coaching lessons from qualified swimming instructors. We have employed the services of JC Swim School to provide swim coaching for our Year 1-4 pupils here at Carisbrook School in Term 1. This coaching will start later this term. Our Years 4-8 pupils will receive coaching at Moana Pool in Term 2 through the Swimsation programme.

All classes have the opportunity to use the Carisbrook Pool at other times. We will provide you with a timetable of when your child’s class will be swimming.

Today we had our first whole school assembly. It was a wonderful event and great to have some classes show casing the great work they have been doing. The Hall will fit the whole school as well as allowing some space for  parents and other family members to attend.
